PMDC aims at supporting members of governing bodies and staff to provide effective leadership and good governance to their organisations. It is only through a system of strong organizational governance that beneficiaries can be assured that an organisation established on their behalf is indeed serving their best interests.

Key issues considered include:

1. An overview of organizational Leadership and Governance;
2. Roles and responsibilities of CSOs governing bodies;
3. Principles of good governance and building effective boards.

This is achieved by undertaking board inductions and trainings, succession planning, mentoring and coaching.
